Wi-Fi test knowledge two: matters needing attention in the use of power splitter
In the Wi-Fi test, when the product antenna is greater than or equal to two, a power divider is usually used. There are two commonly used ones: 1 point 2, 1 point 4. It should be noted here that when measuring line loss and normal testing, the unused port must be connected to a 50Ω matched load. Otherwise, the port will be in a suspended state and the reflection coefficient will deteriorate, which will eventually cause deviations in measurement accuracy. The following table is a list of the line loss values of the different channels of the link when the 1-port of the one-to-two power splitter is connected to the test cable, the 2-port is connected to the matched load and the matched load is not connected.
