Wi-Fi Test Tips Nine: Meter Graphic View Operation

Information

Graphical operation prompt of Meter software, open location: Menu bar → Help → Operation prompt interface is as follows:

1. Selection of display area:

While pressing Shift or Ctrl, drag the mouse to select the area to switch the view to the selected area.

(Note: Shift means proportional zoom, Ctrl means non-proportional zoom)

2. Zoom image:

The Meter image view supports the user to use the mouse wheel to zoom the view centered on the mouse coordinates.

When the mouse is placed on the view, the zoom operation will zoom the entire view in equal proportions.

When the mouse is placed on the coordinate axis, the zoom operation will only zoom the corresponding horizontal (or vertical) coordinate.

At the same time, Meter also supports the keyboard +/- keys (large keyboard) to zoom in and out of the specified view.

3. Drag the image:

The meter graph view supports users to drag the view with the mouse.

When the mouse is placed on the view, the drag operation can drag the view at will.

When the mouse is placed on the coordinate axis, the drag operation will only drag the corresponding horizontal (or vertical) coordinates horizontally (or vertically).

At the same time, Meter supports keyboard arrow keys (up, down, left, right) to drag the display area.

4. Quick save:

When the graph view of the Meter obtains the focus of the mouse, use the Ctrl+S key combination to quickly save the corresponding view image (VSA and VSG views are both). as the picture shows:

Use the F9 key to save all VSA subviews at the same time (VSA view only).

5. Right mouse button menu bar (VSA view):

All VSA graphical views of Meter have right-click menu items, as shown in the figure:

5.1 Fit to view: The image is displayed adaptively, and the Meter automatically adjusts the coordinate range so that each graph can be displayed better. This operation will be called automatically when VSA is turned on.

5.2 Show Legend: Show the legend on this view.

5.3 Displaying ON: Whether to update the image when the data is captured (enabled by default). When this function is turned off, the view will no longer be updated to save data for other purposes such as saving data or viewing detailed information.

5.4 Hold Visible: Keep the visible area when the VSA is turned on. When this function is enabled, all non-manual Fit to view operations will not call Fit to view operations.

5.5 Load Plot: Import view data from a specific file. (The specific file is the data file saved by Save Trace Data)

The default file format is "CSV" as shown in the figure:

5.6 Save Trace Data: Save the view data to the clipboard. The F11 key can quickly complete this operation.

6. Right-click menu bar (VSG view):

The VSG graphical view of Meter temporarily only has one right-click menu item, as shown in the figure:

Fit to view: The function is consistent with the operation of VSA view.
